We are getting closer. The score from the MIBG test was a one. Last time he was a two so this is progress. The one spot that lit up is the small legion (our doctor says too small to call a mass) left over from the surgery of the original tumor.

Doctors are now going back and forth regarding next steps, but they are leaning towards radiation over surgery. The legion is in a spot that controls leg movement. We meet with that radiology team on Monday.

We are still waiting on bone marrow results, but last time we were NED (no evidence of disease) so feeling hopeful that we will stay NED there.

So overall…not cancer free, but getting there. AND (I keep having to remind myself) we are blessed that it did not get worse.
